In addition to group classes, we offer private parent education sessions. These sessions, which take place at your home, are designed to educate parents and any other caregivers (grandparents, nanny, etc) how to properly install and use your car seats. Your parenting partners should all be confident in installing and transporting your children!

Need help configuring multiple car seats in your vehicle? Not sure which car seats will fit? Seat selection sessions are also available. These appointments take place at a local retail location where we will spend up to 90 minutes trying various car seats / arrangements in your vehicle.
So why should you pay for a car seat inspection when you can go to the fire station and have your car seat inspected for free?
That’s true…you might be able to visit your local fire or police station to have your car seat inspected. But first you need to make sure they have a currently certified child passenger safety technician. If they do, they likely have very limited times available for appointments. You might luck out and get someone who has time to spend educating you on proper installation and use…or you may just get someone that quickly inspects your seat and sends you on your way and you leave with your fingers crossed that no one accidentally unbuckles the seat or you have to remove the seat to clean it because your child got sick, etc.
When we come to you, you can have your entire parenting team and all seats/vehicles present. Our focus is not only inspecting your car seat(s) but making sure you understand and are confident in installing and using them. We’ll also help you understand when you’ll need to move to the next car seat stage and give you suggestions for seats that will best fit your child and vehicle.

My name is Erin Brill and I’m a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor (CPST-I) and mother of three.
With my background in engineering, I immediately became fascinated with car seats and the physics behind keeping my children safe.
After being a strong advocate for car seat safety for several years, I completed my training to become a CPST-I.
I love inspecting car seats, but more importantly, I love educating parents on how to correctly select and use their car seats.
